Furniture store POS for large invoices and mixed orders

In a furniture showroom a single invoice can equal a whole day of sales in another shop. CashHub covers the details: the variant, the location, split payment, returns and delivery.

A furniture store POS: how it differs from a grocery register

A showroom invoice is often one or two items, but a large value. The customer pays several ways, the contractor wants an invoice in their company's name, the sofa on the floor is stocked in the warehouse, and sometimes it comes back. So the right POS for this trade focuses on accuracy more than speed.

A Saturday in the showroom

It's 5 PM. A couple is choosing a three-seat sofa in gray. The cashier sees the warehouse has 4 of that variant, and the showroom only has the display piece. They sell it, and the invoice is calculated with VAT.

The customer pays part by card and the rest in cash on the same invoice. They ask for a discount on the set, and the cashier doesn't have the permission, so the manager's PIN is needed. The manager enters it, and the discount is logged under their name.

The cashier creates a delivery order in the dashboard, assigns it to one of your drivers, and the customer receives a link to track it.

Item variants: size and color

A sofa in three sizes and five colors is fifteen variants. You define each size and color as a variant of the same item, and each variant has its own barcode, stock and price. So you know the three-seat gray is gone and only two beige are left. When a variant is returned, it goes back to that variant's stock, and a variants sales report shows which colors move.

Showroom and warehouse: stock per location

The showroom has the display pieces and the warehouse has the cartons. Each item has its own balance in each location, and you see them on one screen. When the showroom needs a piece from the warehouse, you make a transfer: it is created, received or cancelled. And you run stocktakes from the dashboard: count, post the differences, or cancel the stocktake.

Stock transfers between locations

Suppliers and purchase orders

Furniture comes from a factory or an importer and takes time, so you have to order early. Register the supplier, raise a purchase order with items and quantities, receive the goods and enter the unit cost, and if something arrives damaged you return it to the supplier. That way you know what you paid for each piece before you set the selling price.

Inventory management

A tax invoice for contractors and companies

A contractor furnishing apartments or a company office needs more than a receipt. They want a tax invoice with their VAT number, name and address. CashHub issues the standard tax invoice with the buyer's details, in the e-invoice format, and the device signs it and adds the QR code. The system is built on the Phase 2 requirements, and connecting to the Fatoora platform is done with you during setup.

Returns and discounts under your control

If a customer returns a piece, or only part of a set, you record the return in full or in part and a credit note is issued with the VAT computed correctly. Invoices can't be deleted, and a return runs through a credit note.

Discounts, voids and refunds are permission-based. A cashier without the permission asks for the manager's PIN, and every action is logged under the name of whoever did it and when. With invoices of this size, you know who discounted, by how much and when.

Delivery with your own drivers

If you have drivers and delivery vehicles, you create the delivery order in the dashboard and assign it to a driver. The driver signs in from a phone browser and sees only their own orders, the customer gets a link to track the order, and you settle each driver's cash afterward. Delivery is with your own drivers only: there is no driver app, no installation scheduling and no delivery-app integration.

Delivery

How to start and what it costs

A furniture or carpet showroom issues fewer invoices of larger value, so we set CashHub's price for your showroom with you, based on the size of your business and how many branches you run, and you pay it from a balance you top up. No contract and no setup fee, and the first 30 days are free.

  1. Ask for your price: leave your details, free and with no commitment, and we'll get in touch.
  2. We move your items, variants and prices from your current system for free.
  3. We set up your device and printer, and you start selling the same day.

Frequently asked questions

Can I define a sofa in more than one size and color?

Yes. Each size and color becomes a variant with its own barcode, stock and price, and a returned variant goes back to its own stock.

Can I see showroom stock and warehouse stock separately?

Yes. Every item has its own balance in each location, and you move stock between them with a transfer that is created, received or cancelled.

Can I take a deposit or sell on installments?

No, there's no deposit and no installment feature. What exists is split payment on one invoice across cash, card and wallet, and the invoice is issued at the time of sale.

Is there a driver app or installation scheduling?

No. The driver signs in from a phone browser and sees their orders, and the customer gets a tracking link. There is no driver app and no installation scheduling.

How do I control cashier discounts?

Discounts, voids and refunds are permission-based, staff without the permission need the manager's PIN, and every action is logged under the name of whoever did it.
