POS system features by line of business
This is the CashHub POS system feature list as it stands, split into six areas: sales and invoicing, restaurants and kitchen, shops and stock, money and oversight, devices and operations, and tickets. Each area links to its own page for the details.
You don't need to read all of it. A restaurant owner cares about two or three areas, a grocer about others. Read what fits you, and at the end we say plainly what CashHub does not have.
Sales and invoicing
The foundation that works in every kind of business:
- Simplified tax invoices for consumers, and standard (B2B) tax invoices with the buyer's VAT number, name and address, in the e-invoice format.
- The device itself signs the invoice and adds the QR code, and this works offline too.
- Invoices are chained and can't be deleted, and returns are handled with credit notes. Every action is logged with the user's name and time.
- The system is built on Phase 2 requirements. Connecting to the Fatoora platform is done with you during setup, with no technical configuration on your side. We register your devices on the Fatoora platform for you and with you.
- Shops not registered for VAT are supported, and switch later without changing anything.
- Returns can be full or partial, with VAT computed correctly.
- Split one invoice across cash, card and wallet.
- You build offers and combos and the cashier applies them. You can give a specific customer a fixed discount, and create vouchers with a minimum order and start and end dates.
- A WhatsApp receipt goes out from your own business number, only if the customer agrees. Meta charges your business directly.
How e-invoicing works in CashHub
Restaurants: the floor and the orders
For restaurants, cafés and bakeries that serve at the table or sell to go:
- Tables on a floor plan by area, and you move an order from one table to another in a tap.
- Order types: dine-in, takeaway and pickup.
- Recipes linked to stock: each sale deducts ingredients, a void returns them, and you see each dish's cost and margin.
- Offers and combos at the counter, and split payment across cash, card and wallet.
Kitchen and delivery
From the moment of the order to the moment it reaches the guest:
- Each item goes to its own station (grill, cold, bar and so on), on the station's screen or printed on the station printer.
- The cook marks the order ready and the cashier sees it right away. The kitchen display needs the local or server connection, and printed station tickets work too.
- Delivery with your own drivers: from the dashboard you create the delivery order, assign it to a driver and settle the driver's cash, and the customer gets a tracking link for the order.
- The driver signs in to the dashboard from a phone browser and sees their own orders.
Shops and stock
For grocers, perfume shops, phone shops, clothing stores and any business that sells items:
- Stock per item and per location (branch or warehouse), with movements and adjustments.
- Stocktakes from the back office: count, then post or cancel.
- Transfers between branches and warehouses: create, receive, cancel.
- Suppliers, purchase orders, receiving and returns to the supplier. Receiving records the unit cost.
- Expiry dates: receive items with lot numbers and expiry dates, and sales use the nearest expiry first (FEFO). This lives in the back office.
Barcodes, weights and variants
This part matters if you sell by the piece or by weight:
- Barcode scanning with a handheld or built-in scanner, or the device camera.
- Scale labels: EAN-13 barcodes with the price or weight embedded, using prefixes 20 to 29.
- Sale by weight, and quantity price tiers (a lower price per unit from a set quantity).
- Variants (size by colour) with stock per variant, variant returns and a variant sales report.
Money and oversight
What lets you relax even when you're not in the shop:
- Custom roles with the permissions you pick. Discounts, voids and refunds need permission, and without it the cashier needs the manager's PIN.
- The drawer opens only with a sale or a refund.
- Opening and closing a shift, with a shift report and the cash difference, a blind count at close, cash in and out, and handover.
- A device that stays offline too long alerts you, and after a set limit it stops selling until it syncs.
- A lost device? Wipe its data remotely, and the replacement device gets back every record that reached the server.
Reports and day close
From the dashboard, on your phone or computer:
- Daily sales, sales, payments, top items, categories, variants, sales by hour and returns.
- Day close with a Z report. The day won't close with an unsynced device unless the owner allows it.
- Export all of the business's data in one file.
- One dashboard for all your branches.
Devices and operations
What runs behind the scenes:
- Devices: Android, iPhone, iPad, a Windows app and POS terminals with built-in printers; the back-office dashboard opens in a Mac browser. Printers: network, Bluetooth or USB.
- Selling offline: invoices are saved on the device and synced when the connection returns, with no loss or duplicates. The browser is the dashboard, not the selling device.
- Your data sits on two servers inside Saudi Arabia, and if one fails the work moves to the other.
- The interface is in Arabic and English.
- A person from support answers within 10 minutes during business hours, and we move your items from your current system for free.
Tickets and events
For anyone selling entry to an event or a session: events and sessions with a capacity for each session, selling tickets at the cashier, a QR scan at the gate (each ticket admits once), and ticket refunds.
Frequently asked questions
What does CashHub not offer?
There are no loyalty points or stamps, and no gift cards. There are no salon or barber appointments, no pharmacy drug database or SFDA link, no IMEI or serial tracking, no online store, no general-ledger accounting and no payroll. For delivery, there is no driver app and no integration with delivery apps.
Do CashHub invoices get signed offline?
Yes. The invoice is signed and gets its QR code on the device itself, is saved there, and syncs to your account when the connection returns, with no loss or duplicates.
Which devices does CashHub run on?
Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows, plus POS terminals with built-in printers. The back-office dashboard opens in a Mac browser.
How much does CashHub cost?
There is no contract and no setup fee, and you pay for your invoices from a balance you top up (minimum SAR 50). Restaurants and cafés pay 5 halalas per invoice, capped at SAR 149 a month per branch including VAT, after which the rest of the month is free. Retail, furniture and ticket businesses have a custom price we set with you. Your first 30 days from sign-up are free.
Can I use it if I'm not VAT-registered?
Yes. If you register later, you switch over without changing anything in your setup.
Do features differ between plans?
There are no plans. Every feature is available to every business, and you pay for the invoices you issue.
