POS hardware: the devices the register runs on
The register runs on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows, with the phone and tablet apps on Google Play and the App Store. It also runs on POS terminals with a built-in printer. The browser is for the back-office dashboard only, where you manage items and reports, and it is not a cashier screen.
- An Android phone or tablet.
- An iPhone or an iPad.
- A Windows PC.
- A POS terminal with a built-in printer, screen and printer in one unit.
- The back-office dashboard in a browser, for managing the shop, not for selling.
Printers and the cash drawer
CashHub works with network, Bluetooth and USB printers. Pick the connection that suits where the printer sits, and kitchen tickets print the same way on a station printer.
The cash drawer opens with the invoice. It only opens with a sale or a refund, so nobody opens it without a recorded transaction.
Barcode scanner and scale
You scan items with a handheld scanner, a scanner built into the device, or the camera of a phone or iPad, so you can start without a scanner. The scale label is an EAN-13 barcode starting with a number from 20 to 29, and the register reads it in one scan. If your scale doesn't print labels, you enter the weight yourself.

The kitchen screen
For a restaurant, each item goes to its station on a station screen or prints on the station printer, the cook marks the order ready and the cashier sees it. The kitchen screen needs the device to be on the local network or connected to the server, and station print tickets work the same way.
If the internet drops
Selling carries on as normal. The invoice is signed and gets its code on the device itself and is saved there, then syncs with your account when the connection returns, with no loss or duplicates.
Start with a device you already own
We set up your existing devices and printers, and you start selling the same day. You add the devices you need at no charge, because the monthly cap is per branch, not per device. You can use your current devices or buy whatever suits you. The price is 5 halalas per invoice, capped for restaurants at SAR 149 a month per branch, with the first 30 days free.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to buy new POS hardware?
Usually not. CashHub runs on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows and on POS terminals with built-in printers, so you can start with a device you already own.
Which printers work with CashHub?
Network, Bluetooth and USB printers.
Can I run the register in a browser?
No. The browser is for the back-office dashboard only. The register runs on Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows or a POS terminal with a built-in printer.
Do I need to buy a barcode scanner?
Not necessarily. The phone camera scans barcodes, or you can use a handheld or built-in scanner, and the item is added at its price.
What happens to the register if the internet drops?
Selling carries on. The invoice is signed and saved on the device and syncs when the connection returns.
Is there a fee for each POS device?
No. Devices carry no fees, and the monthly cap is per branch, not per device.
