A mobile phone and accessories shop POS: what to expect and what not
CashHub is a register, stock and e-invoicing. There is no IMEI or serial number tracking for individual devices. Stock tracks counts per variant, not each unit on its own. If you need an IMEI record for warranty or to trace a specific device, you will need to keep that outside the system.
- A balance per variant: color and size or capacity.
- A barcode per variant, and search by name.
- No IMEI or serial number tracking.
A busy Saturday in a mobile and accessories shop
A customer walks in for a case for a new phone. The case comes in five colors and each color has its own stock, so the cashier scans the barcode of the color they want and sees only two are left.
Then they add a charger, a cable and a screen protector, and the invoice splits between card and cash if they want. An hour later a repair shop owner takes a big batch of screen protectors, and the price drops by itself according to the quantity tier.
A customer who asks for a discount can't get one from the cashier without permission. It takes the manager's PIN.
Every color and size is a variant with its own stock
One case comes for a specific phone in several colors, a screen protector in sizes, and a phone itself in colors and capacities. You set up each variant on its own, with its barcode and balance, so the system never tells you that you have a case when in reality it is in one color only.
Wholesale prices for repair shops
Repair shops and small resellers buy from you in numbers. You set quantity price tiers: from a set quantity the piece price drops, and the register applies it by itself. For a regular customer you can also set a standing discount in their name.
A tax invoice for companies
A company buys ten phones for its staff and asks for an invoice in its name. You issue a standard tax invoice with the buyer's VAT number, name and address in the e-invoice format, and connecting to the Fatoora platform is done with you during setup.
Returns and exchanges
A case didn't fit the phone, or a charger didn't work. Returns can be full or partial with VAT calculated correctly, and stock goes back to the right variant. A return is issued as a credit note, and the invoices themselves can't be deleted.
The register and the cash
- Sell by card, cash or wallet, or split the invoice across them.
- A phone with a high price can be paid part by card and part in cash.
- A blind cash count when a shift closes, with the cash difference in the report.
- The drawer opens only with a sale or a refund.
Set up your shop step by step
- We move your items and barcodes from your current system for free.
- You split cases, protectors and phones into variants with their colors and sizes, each with its barcode.
- You set wholesale prices for repair shops, plus staff roles and the manager's permissions.
- You connect the printer and a barcode scanner, or use the phone camera, and start selling the same day.
More than one branch
With a branch in the mall and one on the commercial street, each has its own balance, and you move stock between them with a transfer: one branch sends, the other receives. One dashboard shows both.
Frequently asked questions
Does it track IMEI or serial numbers?
No. Stock tracks counts per variant (color and size), and there is no tracking of each device by its number.
Can I set up a case in several colors?
Yes. Each color is a variant with its own barcode and stock.
I sell wholesale to repair shops. Does that work?
Yes, with quantity price tiers and a standing discount for a specific customer.
Can I issue an invoice in a company's name?
Yes. A standard tax invoice with the buyer's VAT number, name and address.
Do I need a barcode scanner?
Not necessarily. You can scan with a phone or iPad camera and add a handheld scanner when traffic grows.
